Private Music Lessons
In today’s digital environment, digital marketing has become essential for businesses and organizations. This course will provide you with a foundation in digital marketing strategies, tactics, and best practices. You will apply topics covered in class to the hands-on experience of building a marketing plan that focuses on your own business/organization or one that interests you. Topics covered will include: Identifying your target audience and marketing plan goal; Digital marketing channel strategies including Web, email, social media and long-form content; Search, SEO and SEM; Writing and designing for the digital environment; Marketing and customer analytics; User experience, usability testing and conversion rate optimization. This class is ideal for anyone who wants to improve their digital marketing skills and/or can benefit from a digital marketing plan for their work. In order to get the most out of this class, you should plan on 1 - 2 hours outside of class to complete weekly assignments. The course will include a one-on-one meeting with Betsy to discuss your marketing plan goal and strategies.
Betsy Rosen has worked for over 30 years in marketing, advertising and strategic planning in Boston and New York for Fortune 500 companies and nonprofit organizations. Highlights of Betsy’s experience include: Senior Vice President/Director of Operations and Strategy for Procter & Gamble advertising accounts; independent consultant partnering with nonprofit leaders including Hope & Comfort and Reach Out and Read on marketing and strategic planning efforts; and as President, Board of Directors at JF&CS. With a recent master’s degree in Digital Marketing and Design from Brandeis, Betsy looks forward to sharing her marketing knowledge and expertise through teaching and mentoring students.
