Does your student love coming up with new ideas? In this hands-on entrepreneurship workshop, students build a real business concept from scratch: identifying a problem worth solving, designing a solution, figuring out their customer and pricing, and creating a brand — then pitching it live to a peer audience on Pitch Day. Across 8 weekly 75-minute sessions, students are guided through the Lean Canvas, a one-page framework used by real startups and entrepreneurs, simplified for this age group. Sessions end with something done they can feel good about and show off to their family. Along the way, students build real-world skills in creative thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving — all while having fun. No experience necessary, just curiosity and a willingness to build something cool. It’s a framework they can carry forward if they ever want to start their own business.
