Concord Museum: American Revolution Special Event

In honor of the country’s 250th anniversary, the Concord Museum has put together a special event for NCE. Participants will first enjoy a docent-led tour of the museum’s Revolutionary galleries. The tour will be followed by a living history Revolutionary era character portrayal. Finally, a curator will provide a “spotlight” talk on a particular item(s) in the museum’s collection. This will be a unique opportunity for our community members!Limited to 15.

Mah Jongg Meet-Up
Special Events

Socialization is an essential component of Mah Jongg, so come meet other Mah Jongg enthusiasts! Enjoy an afternoon of play and snacks at the Common Room restaurant in Needham. Choose your spot at a table which matches your skill level: advanced beginner (30 to 40 minute game), intermediate (25 to 30 minute game), or advanced (15 to 25 minute game). Facilitator Sharon Katz will mingle to offer advice selecting a hand or help switching to a new one. Please indicate if you have a Mah Jongg set you are willing to bring and don’t forget your 2026 Mah Jongg card. Notes: Attendees must already know how to play, and the class fee includes hors d'oeuvres. You may purchase beverages from the bar. Limited to 40.

Restorative Yoga and Sound Bath Event at Stepping Stone Studios

Indulge in 45 minutes of gentle yoga with Jennifer followed by 45 minutes of a soothing sound bath with Dima Bosko. Experience deep relaxation with yoga and the healing vibration of sound. If you have never experienced a Sound Bath, you are in for a treat! Dima will play a variety of musical instruments to create a sound vibration that fills the room and reverberates through you–so you are bathed in sound waves. It is a very meditative experience, and some say can bring a release of tension and a deep sense of calm. You will be immersed in peace. Limited to 25.
