Mid-Week Yoga Stretch

By mid-week, many of us are feeling the need to catch a little respite from the hustle and bustle of our lives. An hour of yoga will help us to unwind while improving our strength and our flexibility as well as calming our minds. This class is designed to safely support yoga students with a range of experience–from beginner to advanced. We will explore the benefits of a deliberate yoga practice through basic breathing, meditation and asana practice. Note: Please bring a yoga mat as well as blocks and strap if you have them.

Kate Murray is an experienced public school educator who has been living in Needham with her husband and two boys since 2010. She's been a lifelong yoga student and recently completed her 200-hour yoga teacher certification at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, Massachusetts. She's eager to support class members with a range of experience--from beginners to seasoned practitioners--explore the benefits of a mindful yoga practice.
