During the cold month of January, join us in the Powisset Kitchen for cuisine that will lift your spirits and warm your soul, with farm-grown ingredients from right here! In this hands-on class with Chef Thi, you’ll learn to make a specially designed winter’s twilight menu of dishes to share with friends and family. On the menu: the perfect Roasted Chicken with Braised Winter Root Vegetables, Winter Chicory Salad with Fried Goat Cheese and Honey Dijon Vinaigrette, and soothing, blues-reversing Truffle Mushroom Risotto. Roll up your sleeves and pitch in as together we prepare, cook and savor a comforting, hearty and delicious meal. Limited to 12.

Thi Bowles

Instructor

Thi Bowles has been active in the culinary world for 20+ years. She started working in restaurants while in college and has worked her way up. She held positions as a restaurant general manager, catering sous chef, executive chef, pastry sous chef and has owned her own restaurant for 5 years which was recognized by the Boston Globe and Phantom Gourmet. She has brought all of that experience and skill to Powisset Farm and is heading the culinary program as the chef and adult cooking program instructor.
