Capture amazing photos using just an iPad and your imagination! In this class, young photographers will learn how to turn everyday scenes into stunning works of art. We'll explore creative techniques with projects that may include a photo color hunt, creating chalk backgrounds for our shots, and a forced perspective project, using optical illusion to create playful images. We'll learn how to frame a perfect shot, tell a story through pictures, and even make our own picture frames for photos. We'll also hold a portfolio showcase to share and celebrate our work. Get ready to have fun, express yourself, and learn how to capture the world in a whole new way! Taking advantage of the increasingly nice weather, we will often use the outdoors as a source of inspiration.

Ipads will be provided for all students by NCE.

6 classes total

NCE begins immediately at the end of the school day. All students enrolled in an NCE class (including those in NEDP) will be dismissed from their classroom to the designated NCE waiting area, where they will be supervised by the NCE Onsite Coordinator until their NCE Class Instructor arrives. Students are welcome to have a nut-free snack during this time.

Pickup is promptly at 4:00pm. NEDP students will be escorted to NEDP at the end of their NCE class.
