Needham Community Education

Calling all video game enthusiasts and imaginative creators! If you love building fantastical mansions in Minecraft, racing cars in Roblox, expelling the imposter in Among Us or are just curious and excited about fantasy worlds, this class is for you. Students will work together to make virtual realities come to life. We will use our imagination to recreate our favorite video games through art, games and physical activities. Get ready for an action-packed class so fun you won't even miss your device!

Note: Students will not be playing video games or using personal devices during this class. This class is designed to take a common interest and expand beyond the digital format.

6 classes total

NCE begins immediately at the end of the school day. All students enrolled in an NCE class (including those in NEDP) will be dismissed from their classroom to the designated NCE waiting area, where they will be supervised by the NCE Onsite Coordinator until their NCE Class Instructor arrives. Students are welcome to have a nut-free snack during this time.

Pickup is promptly at 4:00pm. NEDP students will be escorted to NEDP at the end of their NCE class.
