Discover the power of the human voice in this high-energy, instrument-free vocal class! In Summer Voices, students will dive into the world of a cappella, learning how to blend harmonies, try vocal percussion (beatboxing), and sing their favorite pop and rock hits without a single backing track. This class focuses on the joy of singing and the thrill of creating a full-band sound using nothing but voices and teamwork. Participants will sharpen essential vocal techniques, including ear training, breath control, and rhythmic timing. Emphasizing collaboration over competition, students will work together to arrange unique mashups and practice the art of "blending" their voices. To wrap up the session, the group will prepare a relaxed, small-scale performance (either in person or as a shared recording depending on what the group agrees upon), showcasing the incredible wall of sound they’ve built together.
