With total creative freedom, this class invites writers to explore the limitless possibilities of short stories and diverse genres of writing. From crafting gritty dystopian epics and supernatural mysteries to experimenting with Blackout Poetry, students will focus on character development, gripping openings, and bold “genre-mashing” experiments to discover their unique voice. We will get creative with hands-on activities like Collaborative Story-Swaps, where plots change as they pass from hand to hand, and World-Building Maps to chart your own fictional universe. Whether you’re a seasoned storyteller or just beginning to explore creative writing, this class offers the perfect space to grow, experiment, and have fun.
