Adult Education / Cook, Taste and Decorate -
Adult Summer 2026

Build confidence cooking salmon in this hands-on, beginner-friendly class focused on a few high-impact techniques you can actually use at home. We’ll work through core stovetop skills, simple flavor pairings, and smart ways to turn one ingredient into multiple meals.

During the class, participants will:

  • Cook pan-seared salmon with lemon-herb butter
  • Turn cooked salmon into simple salmon cakes with lemon-dill aioli
  • Prepare a mixed spring salad with a bright citrus vinaigrette
  • Learn how to judge salmon doneness by sight and touch
  • Practice managing stovetop heat and timing with confidence

The class includes 2 hours of guided instruction and hands-on cooking, followed by 30 minutes of tasting and informal discussion. BYOB beer and wine (age 21+). No prior cooking experience is required. Participants will leave with recipes, technique notes, and the confidence to cook salmon comfortably at home. Limited to 12.
