This four-session course is designed to support you in managing stress and cultivating mental clarity. Unlike a standard meditation class, this program utilizes a dual-modality approach: integrating reflective journaling to externalize daily stressors, followed by themed guided meditations (such as "Rooting into Routine" and "Winter Solstice Stillness") to promote deep relaxation. The structure will aid you in bridging the gap between active work/home life and a restorative state of mind. Running every other week, the course provides a sustainable rhythm, allowing you to integrate the practices into your routines without a weekly time commitment. By offering tools for somatic grounding and emotional release, "Mindful Transitions" provides life-enhancing skills and fosters community well-being. Participants will be encouraged to continue these practices on their own time with a simple audio recording of a guided meditation that the instructor will provide. Note: Please bring a water bottle, blanket, yoga mat or small pillow (if you prefer to sit in a chair). Limited to 12.
Julie Bailit MA, MBA discovered the power of meditation and visualization when she practiced hypnobirthing in preparation for delivering her first child. Practicing the style of meditation she now teaches emerged from a traumatic surgery experience. By using this method, she was able to feel calm before surgery, needed much less pain medication than expected and she healed more quickly than she could have ever imagined. She found a deep inner peace that she has carried with her ever since. In a desire to share this healing practice with as many people as possible, Julie became a Certified Mind/Body Coach and utilizes what she has learned to teach people how to find their own deep peace as well as how to reduce the anxiety often associated with surgery and other medical procedures. Julie offers private and small group healing sessions as well as guided meditation workshops for groups of any size. www.healfasterwithjulie.com.
