Conversational Russian (grades 6-12)

26-27 Middle School FALL

Conversational Russian for middle school and high school students is a fun, beginner-friendly course designed to introduce students to everyday Russian through games, role-play, music, cultural activities, and conversation. Students will learn useful words and phrases they can use to greet others, introduce themselves, talk about their interests, ask and answer simple questions, and navigate everyday situations. No previous Russian experience is required. By the end of the course, students will have the confidence to have a simple 2–5 minute conversation in Russian about familiar topics.

*This class will run at the normal time on early release days.

Katsiaryna Aniskovich

Katerina is a multilingual clinical and school psychologist who works for the Needham High school, providing psychoeducational evaluations for the students to help support their learning and success in school. She especially enjoys learning about each student’s unique educational journey and collaborating with parents and teachers to find the best ways to support students from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, ice skating, skiing, and learning to play the guitar!
