Private Music Lessons
Take your chess playing ability to the next level in this class taught by a Chess Grandmaster. Strategic and tactical concepts will be covered for all stages of the game: openings, middlegames, endgames. You will learn techniques in the endgame (mostly Pawn and Rook endgames). You will also gain strategic and psychological advice for tournament chess play. The instructor will provide various exercises to improve chess skills.
Dima Barash is a Chess Grandmaster (earned 1993), and he had 6th rating in the World in 1992. Dima was Maryland Champion in 2000 and has taught chess for over 30 years.. In 2000, he moved to Massachusetts. Dima’s students have been MA Champions in different age groups, and award winners in US National Championships.
