If you enjoy Magic: The Gathering or Yahtzee, you will LOVE Dice Throne, which is a table-top board game that combines the best of both games into one. Choose a hero, roll the dice, and damage your opponent. Play cards to help you out or save them to change your opponents dice! There are a variety of heroes and a variety of play styles, making no two games ever the same. We will have 1 vs.1 challenges, team play, King of the Hill matches, character polls, and a tournament to end the class. Check out the Dice Throne website here to learn more!

Have fun, learn about Needham Community Farm and get community service hours! At the Needham Community Farm, students will prep the farm for fall and winter. Tasks may include weeding, preparing beds for winter, farm clean-up, and more. This is a great way to help your community while satisfying school or other volunteer requirements. Needham Community Farm provides fresh, healthy, sustainably grown produce to the Needham Community Council Food Pantry, serving over 400 income-eligible families a month. Additionally, their Mobile Market distributes produce at four Needham Housing Authority sites. Fee covers student supplies and group supervision required by Needham Community Farm. 12 Maximum Students This program meets Pollard's community service requirement. If class is full, please put your name on the waitlist so we can access demand and create future opportunities for students.
