Continuing Watercolor: Nature Workshop-Barn Owl and Gray Heron

In this series of workshops, the instructor will demonstrate step-by-step how to paint animals, flowers, birds and a landscape or seascape. A line drawing and photo is provided before each workshop and a tonal value study is included before we begin the watercolor painting. A video of the 2.5 hour workshop is provided afterwards. Sally Meding

Instructor

Sally Meding is a signature member of the Southwestern Watercolor Society, and a native of London, UK. She earned a PhD in Freiburg, Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1990. Sally creates semi-abstract work in watercolor on paper, and has won numerous awards for her work, including first place in November of 2014 in the Rhode Island Watercolor Society Open Juried Exhibition. She also teaches beginning and intermediate watercolor and graphite drawing classes at 5 Crows Gallery in Natick, Keefe Tech in Framingham, and The Post Road Art Center in Marlborough, MA.
