Create stunning jewelry, ornaments, and sculptures using gemstones, gem chips, and beads on wire! This class will teach you techniques to craft beautiful pieces, including miniature 3D bonsai trees with bead and gem leaves, delicate bird nest pendants, dazzling sun catchers, and stylish wire-wrapped sea glass bracelets. The natural variations in real stone materials ensure that each creation is unique and beautiful. By the end of the week, you'll have several pieces of art worthy of display or gift-giving, and a newfound appreciation for the art of wire wrapping and gemstone design.Returning students welcome! Students who joined this class in previous years will be given the opportunity to work on more in-depth independent projects and/or reinvent class projects.
