Have you ever wanted to create an app for your phone or tablet? In this class students will learn how to create an app that can utilize your phone's sensors, including the camera. The app could be a game or anything else you can dream up. Using MIT's App Inventor programming environment, we can create apps that work on Android or iOS devices. Bring your own phone and/or school or personal tablet to use in the course. Students will need to download the AI Companion app onto their phones and/or tablets. Android and iOS users will be able to test and run their apps while their phone is connected to the App Inventor website. Once the app is completed, Android users will be able to download the app to their phone, and iOS users will be able to run their app while their phone is connected to the App Inventor website.
