Explore the epic world of trading cards! From the strategic gameplay of trading card games (TCGs) like Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon to the collectible excitement of sports cards, this class will celebrate your interest in and inspire you to design your own. We'll design and illustrate custom cards, develop game mechanics that will make them unique, and bring our creations to life. And get ready to talk cards too – we'll share ideas, discuss strategies, and debate our favorite characters and players. Whether you're a sports fanatic, a fantasy enthusiast, a game lover, or simply curious, this class is for you! Note: NCE will provide cards and students are asked to not bring in cards from home unless requested by the instructor.
