Private Music Lessons
Create a unique ceramic piece for your home or office, that will be both decorative and utilitarian. On the first evening, you will learn and employ slab or pinch hand-building techniques to craft your piece. On the second evening, you will decorate your work with colorful underglazes — with the option to explore sgraffito, a fun technique that reveals designs through carving. No experience needed…just bring your imagination! Note: A $40 materials fee is payable to the instructor in class. Limited to 8.
Simone Azevedo was a senior executive for over 25 years and in 2019 she changed directions and started studying hand-building ceramics and has a studio at home. Simone has expanded her love for ceramics and now also does watercolor and embroidery where she explores colors, textures and patterns. Nature is a big inspiration for the work Simone does.
