Get into the holiday spirit with this two-day pottery class! On the first evening, you will use simple clay techniques to hand-build festive decorations, such as ornaments, stars, trees, or custom keepsakes. On the second evening, you will bring your creations to life with colorful underglazes, including the option to add detail using sgraffito carving. Perfect for beginners and a joyful way to craft personal holiday treasures! Note: A $40 materials fee is payable to the instructor in class. Limited to 8.
Simone Azevedo was a senior executive for over 25 years and in 2019 she changed directions and started studying hand-building ceramics and has a studio at home. Simone has expanded her love for ceramics and now also does watercolor and embroidery where she explores colors, textures and patterns. Nature is a big inspiration for the work Simone does.
