Make a Hand Painted Silk Scarf

Adult Education / Create and Make -
Adult Fall 2025

Scarves are a beautiful accessory that you can enjoy wearing yourself or give as a gift to others. In this workshop, you will learn two techniques for hand painting silk scarves: bleeding tissue paper and painting with silk dyes. Then, you will employ the technique of your choice to create your own scarf. You will also have the option to make two scarves so you can experiment with each of the techniques. A $25 materials fee for one scarf ($35 for two scarves) is payable to the instructor in class.
