Create your very own, highly customizable tree fairy to adorn your home this holiday season! This needle felting course will teach you how to make a simple felted doll with a fully poseable wire armature. You will receive a crash course in armature making for needle felted artwork, as well as a variety of wool sculpture techniques from basic shapes to finer details. A choice of fibers and embellishments will be provided to manifest a truly festive and special work of art! If there is time, students can practice stitching, beading and embroidering unique details for their creations. While some needle felting experience is beneficial, it is not required to attend this workshop and is open to all skill levels. This workshop is four hours long, so feel free to bring a snack! A $15 materials fee is payable to the instructor in class. Limited to 12.
