Private Music Lessons
Join artist and ceramic instructor Simone Azevedo for private or semi-private pottery lessons in her welcoming studio, designed to nurture creativity and hands-on learning. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine specific skills, lessons are customized to your interests—hand building, glazing, decorating techniques, or a combination of all. Note: A material fee of $60.00 (for every 2 sessions) is paid directly to the instructor and includes 10 pounds of clay, glazes, underglazes and other materials needed for your projects. Extra clay can be purchased directly from the instructor but may incur additional costs for firing the pieces. All tools are provided. Open to adults and teens age 14 and up. Simone offers lessons on weekdays, some evenings, and occasional weekends based on availability. Lesson packages are valid through December 31, 2025. There are no refunds or credits for unused time.
Simone Azevedo was a senior executive for over 25 years and in 2019 she changed directions and started studying hand-building ceramics and has a studio at home. Simone has expanded her love for ceramics and now also does watercolor and embroidery where she explores colors, textures and patterns. Nature is a big inspiration for the work Simone does.
