Join us for an engaging and insightful evening as Campus Bound brings you Mock Admissions: The Inside Look. In this interactive webinar, you will be invited to participate in the application journey of three fictitious applicants as they apply to three fictitious colleges and universities. You will be introduced to common application terms and will receive a behind the scenes look at the factors that influence how decisions are made in the selective college landscape. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of how colleges and universities evaluate applications and reach their decisions.
Jen Forand, Associate Director of College Counseling, has been supporting students and families through the college application process since 2010. She started her career as a high school counselor in private and public schools. In 2014, Jen joined the Campus Bound team as a college counselor. In 2024, she became a member of Campus Bound's leadership as an Associate Director of College Counseling, where she continues to support students and families with expertise, compassion, and humor in addition to supporting team training and community education. Jen lives in Hopkinton, MA, with her husband, two kids - ages 5 and 7 - and dog!
Mindy Mitchell, Associate Director of College Counseling, brings decades of experience in the field of college admissions and college counseling. She began her career with graduate internships in both the undergraduate and graduate admission offices at Boston College and went on to serve in numerous leadership roles in higher education, including Director of Admission at Wentworth Institute of Technology. In 2016, Mindy joined Campus Bound as a college counselor, bringing her admissions expertise to the student side of the process. Since 2018, she has served on the Campus Bound leadership team as Associate Director of College Counseling. Mindy is known for her thoughtful guidance, sense of humor, and ability to bring perspective and calm to what can be a complex process. Mindy lives in Needham, Massachusetts, and has guided her own three children through their unique college journeys. She also shares her home—and occasionally her Zoom meetings—with her dog.
