Wet-Felted Wool Scarf

Adult Education / Create and Make -
Adult WS2026

Date has been changed to Februrary 28.

In this class we will wet felt a merino scarf from start to finish using traditional wet felting techniques. A scarf is an easy and fun way to get into the world of wet felting. All you need is wool, water, and a bit of elbow grease to create this warm, durable scarf! In this class we will also experience a variety of embellishment fibers and their applications, and use them to completely customize your project. Bear in mind, wet felting is a lot of work, but very tactile and rewarding. And a warning, you will get wet, so bring a towel and apron! Feel free to bring a snack and beverage as well. Open to all skill levels. A $25 materials fee is payable to the instructor in class. Limited to 12.
