Needham Community Education

Over the course of four action-packed classes, middle school athletes will compete in a fun and structured pickleball tournament designed to build skills and spark excitement. Each class begins with skill-focused warmups and short coaching sessions to improve serving, returning, footwork, and shot selection. Players will then rotate through singles and doubles matchups, gaining valuable experience while learning how to communicate, strategize, and make quick decisions on the court. As the tournament progresses, players advance through round-robin play and elimination rounds leading up to a final championship session. The program is welcoming to all skill levels, emphasizing fair play, confidence, and continuous improvement. By the end of the four classes, every participant will leave with stronger fundamentals and a deeper love for the game.
