Get ready to tap, whack, and groove in this high-energy, hands-on Intro to Boomwhackers ensemble! This class transforms simple, color-coded percussion tubes into a collaborative orchestra, making music theory both visual and physical. Students will explore rhythm, melody, and harmony by striking the tubes against various surfaces to produce pitched notes, learning how to work together to perform everything from popular hits to rhythmic games. It’s a fantastic way to develop hand-eye coordination and ensemble listening skills in an environment that prizes creativity and movement over rigid traditional methods. Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned musician, you'll find that making music has never been this vibrant, loud, and flat-out fun!

NCE begins immediately at the end of the school day. All students enrolled in an NCE class (including those in NEDP) will be dismissed from their classroom to the designated NCE waiting area, where they will be supervised by the NCE Onsite Coordinator until their NCE Class Instructor arrives. Students are welcome to have a nut-free snack during this time.

Pickup is promptly at 4:25pm. NEDP students will be escorted to NEDP at the end of their NCE class.
