    Through our Adult Education program, we hope to provide quality lifelong learning experiences that are accessible to a wide range of community members, including high school students. View this catalog online on the adult education page of the Needham Public Schools website at http://www.needham.k12.ma.us/community_ed NOTE: Summer programs are either outside, indoors with plenty of room to spread out, or virtual. Please see the details for each class listing. Current CDC guidelines will be adhered to in all cases.
  • After School Classes for Broadmeadow Students

    Enrollment Policy: Students may only register for NCE classes at the school they currently attend (for example students at Broadmeadow may only enroll in NCE after school classes held at Broadmeadow). After School Classes begin at the end of the school day. Students are dismissed to the designated NCE gathering area of their school, where they are supervised by the NCE On-Site Coordinator until their instructor arrives to escort the students to their classroom. For students in NEDP: Students enrolled in NEDP may also register for NCE Elementary programs. They will be escorted back to NEDP at the end of their class. Note: Please provide NEDP with a Dismissal Change Form to notify NEDP that your child will be attending their NCE class and returning to NEDP upon its conclusion.

    Enrollment Policy: Students may only register for NCE classes at the school they currently attend (for example students at Eliot may only enroll in NCE after school classes held at Eliot).     Students should arrive 5–10 minutes before the start of class to check in with our OnSite Coordinator. Students will remain with the Coordinator upon check-in until the start of class. No supervision is provided between the end of the school day and 10 minutes prior to the start of Late Afternoon/Evening Classes.

The Needham Community Education (NCE) Middle School Programs offers high quality enrichment classes that appeal to all students. These fun classes, taught by Needham Public Schools staff and other qualified professionals, enable students to extend their learning beyond the classroom in a relaxed & social environment. Refund Policy: Participants may withdraw from a class and receive a refund, less a $15.00 processing fee, if you notify NCE on or before 2-weeks from the start of class. Refunds are made by check from the Town of Needham and may take up to four weeks to arrive by mail. No credits or refunds can be given after the deadline date, once a class begins, or for missed classes.
