Have you been wanting to learn how to play guitar, with visions of strumming songs around the campfire or on your porch? This class, designed for true beginners, is the perfect place to get started. Your instructor, Liam Flinn from Rob’s Guitar School, will teach you and make you comfortable with guitar basics, and set you on your way to playing simple songs. Students must have their own guitar and tuner. Links to affordable guitars and tuners on Amazon can be provided upon request (approx. $90). Teaching materials will be provided by Rob’s Guitar School during the course of the program and are covered by the course fee. Limited to 4.

Needham Student Theatre (NST) is an organization run entirely by and for students that puts on an annual summer production for the public. This year, we’re excited to partner with NCE to put on "Seussical the Musical!” Open to rising 9th graders-20 year olds, NST aims to provide a safe and low-stress environment for students who want to have something fun to do during their summer evenings. No prior performing experience required. Limited to 35. No prior performing experience required. Participants will go through an audition process for the sake of role assignment, but everyone is guaranteed a spot in the cast. No preparation is required and the audition materials will be taught at the audition. Cast members may not be needed at every rehearsal.
