Andrew Altenbach, CFP and CExP, provides financial, business, and estate planning solutions for professionals and businesses nationwide. He guides clients regarding investments, insurance, retirement planning, wealth transfer and asset protection solutions, business continuity and exit planning, executive retention programs, and sophisticated risk management techniques. Outside of his practice, Andrew is also a classical musician. He brings dynamic passion to his symphonic and operatic conducting that brings him national attention. Maestro Altenbach has conducted and served on the music staff for such companies as Minnesota Opera, Central City Opera, Opera Birmingham, Opera Africa, Milwaukee Opera Theater, Santa Fe Opera, Music Academy of the West, Cincinnati Opera, and the San Francisco Opera. Recent engagements include the Peninsula Music Festival, Opera Colorado, Sacramento Opera, Tri Cities Opera, and Miami Music Festival. He was a faculty member at The Boston Conservatory, serving as Music Director of the opera program for twelve years. Maestro Altenbach founded and was Artistic Director of the Minnesota Bach Ensemble, a professional chamber orchestra in the Twin Cities. Recent symphonic conducting credits include Indiana University, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Memphis Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Grand Teton Music Festival. Andrew is an active pianist and chamber musician in the Boston area. He is currently the Music Director of the Brookline Symphony Orchestra. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Altenbach received music and economics degrees from Northwestern University and Indiana University. He and his family currently live in Wellesley. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, playing golf, writing, and planning the next trip to Europe.
