Private Music Lessons
Private music lessons greatly enhance a student's success and enjoyment of a musical instrument. A student's improved level of individual performance translates into greater achievement in school ensembles, increased opportunities through recitals and select groups, and builds self-confidence.
We are excited to continue offering Private Music Lessons with our talented group of musicians from NPS' Fine & Performing Arts Department. Needham Community Education (NCE) will assist you with the registration for Private Music Lessons and support families who need financial assistance. Program Details:Private Music Lessons are offered to students in grades 1 through 12 and taught after school at the Needham Public Schools. In some instances, remote lessons can be arranged through Zoom. Lessons are provided throughout the school year and are taught in two semesters - 15 lessons each semester for a total of 30 lessons. Lessons will begin in September. In order to enroll, please follow these simple steps:1) If you haven't already, contact your Private Music Lesson Teacher to check on their availability.
2) Decide with your teacher when and how long of a lesson to schedule. We offer 30-minute or 60-minute lessons billed at $38 per half-hour lesson.
3) To enroll & pay log into your Eleyo account and select the class "Private Music Instruction". Make sure to answer all required questions about your instrument, teacher, day and time of your lessons.
Health and Safety: As NCE is part of the Needham Public Schools, NCE programs will adhere to all health and safety guidelines in place for Needham Public Schools.
